Well, I haven’t been blogging consistently for quite some time.

Part of it is that I hate my current layout and need to find something that’s well….more…me

2nd…I don’t feel like talking. I don’t feel like writing….

I am more in the season of thinking, chewing, processing and interpreting…

All that to say I am officially disconnecting my blog.

At some point it will be back…definitely in another format…hopefully less sucky than it is now (since I don’t update)

Twitter will still get it’s love.

Not sure when I will officially pull the plug…but it won’t be long…

I feel that our first series in 08′ was a success.

I’m not basing this on simply numbers, or “creative stuff” we had in place, but how the people responded.

I’m a true believer that a successful anything should cause a reaction…good or bad. It should make people think, ask, doubt, wrestle, and ultimately lead them into a course of action. For us, the end result is to see lives moved closer to Christ.

Judging by numerous responses on the website, personal interactions, and overall participation…I feel that God did just that..

Here are a few snapshots of the stage set….over 150 books….hundreds of staples….and whole lotta words.

Something I have been thinking about….

Recently, I have had my space invaded. It usually happens at the most inconvenient and awkward times.

- It happens when I don’t want to talk

- It happens when I’m busy

- It happens when I’ve got other things on my mind

I have made it a point to let my space be invaded. I want to be thrown off guard. I want to continue to learn how to put others first and myself at a distance.

I have been forming some great relationships, all of which have been work, but well worth the time spent.

No one said developing relationships wasn’t work…

I think that’s one mistake I’ve always made…

Why?

Please God tell me why??!!

How is this possible? Will there ever be an end?

How many “action” movies can he possibly make?

Please…

STOP…

I’d rather watch TBN…and that’s saying something..

Well, we are about halfway through our all day meeting and let me tell you….the pace is wearing.

 Fortunately we have about 25 highly caffeinated drinks that could cause our hearts to explode at any moment

Tomorrow we are off to our 2nd all day “creative retreat”.

The goal will be to map out the 2nd half of 08′ and put the finishing touches on Easter (get ready)

Our first experience like this, took place last fall, and let me tell you….my mind felt like mush. It’s a grueling 12 hours of non-stop brainstorming, but it is incredible. Plus we are planning on eating at a “Thai” restaurant and that alone makes the trip worth it.

I am finalizing the agenda today and hopefully I have enough caffeine to sustain my body from dropping into a coma.
